but we're the suckers who go back for more....

Paramount Canada's Wonderland. It may not be the best theme park out there but its still alot of fun and relatively convenient. There's just one problem though. Where the #@&% do they get off charging the amounts that they do. Ok so if youre just a one time season goer then youre looking at paying probably about 60 dollars for one day trip, now mind you that is just the base price that gets you on the rides. Once youre in the park you might need a locker to hold your stuff because lets face it, everywhere we go we bring a sweater incase its cold, sunscreen and water in case its hot, wallets, cameras, and all the other little things we never go anywhere without. So you go to customer service and ask for a locker key, (figuring maybe 50 cents or 1 dollar at most), umm NOPE!! 11 friggin dollars and 50 cents. Can you believe that. These are not big lockers .. about a foot high and two feet deep. Anyways thats the first thing.
As you know it takes about an hour to get through the line of a decent rollercoaster or other ride, and so youre bound to get hungry, sure you could pack a lunch but it will only be confiscated at the gate where they check your bag. So that means either you leave the park and walk a couple of blocks to eat or to save on time you can pay about 13.00 for a crappy hamburger and some disgusting onion rings. so by now youve spent 85.50 and ridden like three rides for a total of 3 minutes. Well now you want to win your girlfriend a nice stuffed animal that is too big to fit in the car and will be forgotten 5 minutes after getting it home, so you go to the game of your choice, (all of which are rigged to some extension to be much more difficult than it seems), and you pay the $5.00 they ask and when you finally hit the target or whatever and they hand you a plastic bowl with scoody doo on it or something, so you spend about another 10.00 to get the second biggest prize. So now youre tab is up to 95.00 or about 115.00 if you count the gas it took to drive there. AND YOUVE ONLY BEEN ON 3 OR 4 rides and its like 4:00, the park closes in like 3 or 4 hours. So you go on a couple more rides and then drive home.
Now it may sound like I hate wonderland but i dont. I bought a season pass before the season for like 75.00 before the season and im going to make that walk to the restaurant at lunch and i can take the ttc there. And i wont bring alot of stuff so i dont need a locker.
Maybe my only reason for writing this post is because i wanted you to hate wonderland so the line will be just a little shorter for me next time. Chau.

It doesn't matter what he did, forgive him...

I have to say one thing I hate the most is when people don't appreciate what a special gift they have in a father. They say that he was a jerk because he divorced their mom and got remarried, well so what, more than 50% of marriages end in divorce and he's just like a billion other people who simply fell out of love. Dont hold anything against your father. Love him and appreciate him and forgive him. He is only human and deserves your respect and admiration even if you have to search hard to find something to admire. You need to have a father, you need that relationship (especially if youre a male). You screw up too and you would not want to lose contact with your kids if it was you in the situation.

My dad passed away almost a year ago and sometimes the hurt is so bad it feels like I'll be crying forever uncontrollably. All i want is one of the weekly phone calls i used to get from him telling me how proud he is of me and that he misses me.

I dont really know who im talking to but if this is you then you know you need to patch things up with him or at least do your best. Dont wait until its too late.
